Connect Garmin & other devices

You don't use Strava directly? You can still automate everything — here are the most common setups.

⌚ Garmin watch → Strava

Garmin Connect can sync automatically to Strava. Once linked, every activity recorded on your watch appears on Strava — and WSWA picks it up without any manual entry.

  1. Create a free Strava account (if you don't have one)
  2. Open the Garmin Connect app
  3. Settings → Connected apps → Strava
  4. Tap Connect and authorise
  5. Then connect Strava to WSWA (see the Strava guide)
📱 Add WSWA to your Android home screen

No app to download. Install WSWA directly from your browser for one-tap access — it works exactly like an app.

  1. Open wswa.run in Chrome on Android
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top right
  3. Select "Add to Home screen"
  4. Name it WSWA and tap Add
  5. The icon appears on your home screen — tap to open instantly
🔗 Other connected watches

Many devices can sync to Strava, which then feeds WSWA automatically:

  • Apple Watch — via the Strava iOS app (automatic sync)
  • Polar — Polar Flow → partner apps → Strava
  • Suunto — Suunto app → connected services → Strava
  • Fitbit — Fitbit app → Discover → Strava → Connect
  • COROS — COROS app → Profile → Connected apps → Strava
Tip: Once your watch is linked to Strava and Strava is linked to WSWA, your daily walk is validated automatically — nothing to do after each outing.
